This GM Turn Signal Switch Detent Repair Kit consists of the wafer spring and detent bar that is used in GM turn signal switches. The combination of these two pieces causes the turn signal to 'snap' into postion creating a detent. Often these delicate metal pieces are damaged. If the plastic housing of the turn signal switch is still intact, then this kit can be used to avoid having to replace the turn signal switch itself.
