Steering column repairs often require replacing the lower shift bowl. This part fits rear wheel drive cars with console (floor) shift automatic transmission (originally used on Pont Grand Prix, Buick Grand National, Chevrolet Monte Carlo- vintage 1984-1988). This bowl can be used to replace the style with a column shift on these older designs. These are new reman lower bowls.

Very often, customers want to change their cars from a column design to a floor shift design column. This is the part that will swap out without any modifications. We currently offer 2 different height bowls; 6 7/8" tall or 7-3/4" tall. The cast portion is only 2-1/8" tall (included in overal height measurement).
