The ignition switch lock cylinder pushes this rod to activate the ignition switch. GM made approx 15 different ignition actuator rods. This actuator is available in 1 length only 12 1/2". This design was used on vehicles similar to the Pontiac Grand Am, Buck Sommerset and other models using a floor shift transmission. Some models require the rod be cut and carefully re-bent to fit your application.
