Ford Tilt Housing Set - NEW ITEM

This Ford tilt housing set is used on car and truck models from 1980 through 1991 (may fit 70's vehicles with some modification) with a round metal housing design. Typically, the tilt mechanism develops looseness and play when pulled or leaned on. Refurbished by a machine shop and custom made to our specs, these tilt housing and support sets are sold together at a substantially lower price than NOS parts (over $150 savings).

These are USED /REMANUFACTURED parts, from other Ford trucks. Both pieces have had the pivot pin holes bored out to a specific size and refitted with larger hardened steel pins (no sleeves). These are original Ford parts machined to remedy the loose tilt symptom. The set includes the support, the tilt housing and 2 new pivot pins to match. You will need to transfer your tilt gear mechanism and bearings to this remanufactured housing set.
