Upper slide shaft for early design tilt / telescopic steering columns. This upper shaft is 1/2 of the telescopic mechanism. This inner shaft slides into Teleshaft2-a and locks into place using a wedge (and shaft) There are 2 length shafts depending on which year, make & model vehicle you have. This shaft is the longer shaft and is 6" long with an inner steel rod measuring 4 1/4" (10.8cm). The inner steel rod is NOT included with this part.
