The ignition switch lock cylinder pulls and pushes the tip of the rod to activate the ignition switch. GM made approx 15 different ignition actuator rods. This tip was used on many of those designs. These rods are no longer available. We have a limited number of these tips that can be CAREFULLY installed on your rod. Changing this cast piece is a very fragile procedure. (If you break it, you own it).
